Soul Support for our Sisters
Tea Talks with Guest Speakers
I am writing a book. Why? Because my mom wrote a book and it left so much out that I feel the need to fill in the blanks. As I write my story in this blog you may find something familiar, if you do, hang out with us in our forums, participate in our Tea Talks, Creativiteas, Soul Sister Retreats and join our support groups. Keep following the links down a road to healing and helping others.
I'm your hostess for this journey. I have often called my life the Lifetime Movie Saga because there has been more drama than just a short episode could handle. As I have moved out of survival mode to thrive mode I have gained a heart for hurting women. Which is why I am starting this community. We should give one another a safe place to heal, rest and grow in. We should encourage and support one another.
I am foremost the daughter of the most high King who loves me dearly.
I am a wife, mother and grandmother. I love my family fiercely. They are the the focus of most that I do. I have worked as a teacher, in Christian ministry and in a whole lot of direct sales!
Up until I was 12 I wanted to be a psychiatrist but then I figured out that I would grow broke trying to 'fix' my family! I stayed interested in how the mind works and why people do what they do. I have taken ALL the personality tests and I can tell you I am an INTP, green, 8 with wing 9, Chlor-mel, CD with strengths in adaptability, learning, input, restoration, and strategy. My spiritual gifts are consistently administrative, knowledge and teaching. Basically I am an introvert who does not do small talk, social gatherings or day to day tasks well but throw me into an emergency, give me a problem to solve or let me throw a large event and I am your girl! I love to learn for knowledge sake. I am pretty resourceful and a little creative.
I hope you will share my journey and let me walk a little ways with you on yours.
“This life is for loving, sharing, learning, smiling, caring, forgiving, laughing, hugging, helping, dancing, wondering, healing, and even more loving. I choose to live life this way. I want to live my life in such a way that when I get out of bed in the morning, the devil says, 'aw no, he's up!”
